Here I am, writing my very first blog for New Communication Technologies and I'm not going to lie: I feel more lost on this site then I was on my first day at Griffith University. I may need a to wear an L plate while using this. It certainly didn't help that I wasn't at the first lecture. Now I'm worried I sound a little slack, although this certainly wasn't the case. The case was actually that of a bad flu, for which I had feared the worst. Yes, I am indeed making reference to the a-pork-alypse known as Swine Flu, which seems to have brought the world to its knees. Instead of attending University and risking the health of my fellow pupils, I chose to live like a hermit for a week, rocking like a lunatic in the darkest corner of my room, waiting it out until the storm finally passed.
Luckily, I managed to get over this illness, and a brave friend of mine risked his own health to help me catch up on the week's work, set up a blogging account, and make sure I was still alive.
